Recipe: Maple Cinnamon Brazil Nut BUTTER!
Looking for a new way to get the health benefits of nuts? We’ve got you covered! Making a nut butter and drizzling it on ice cream feels luxurious, but the beauty of your nut butter topping is that it’s helping you to get nuts into your diet. All you need is a blender or food processor and a large bag of your favorite Gather Nuts. We chose Maple cinnamon Brazil nuts for this version.
We simply opened the bag of nuts and put them in Vitamix (you can do the same with food processor) and started the to blend them slowly. You may have to turn off your blender and scrape the sides of the nut butter a few times. Once fully blended you can put it in a glass jar and keep it in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks. Drizzle on ice cream, use as a dip for your farmers market strawberries, or add some cocoa for a more chocolatey flavor, and if the nut butter is a little thin, add a small amount of chai seeds and blend again
